Skillsoft Unveils 2014 Global Skillsoft Perspectives Learning Industry Event Agenda
Jack Welch joins distinguished speaker lineup; Panel Discussions and Customer Learning Sessions to Include Burger King, CACI, PwC and Johns Hopkins University
NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skillsoft today announced the agenda for its 2014 Global Skillsoft Perspectives learning industry event. Highlighting the event are appearances by several renowned speakers, including Jack Welch, Executive Chairman of the Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University; Erik Wahl, artist, author and entrepreneur; and Lyn Heward, former Director of Creation for Cirque du Soleil. Perspectives will feature a broad range of workshops, customer presentations, expert panels and product demonstrations covering the latest trends in learning.
This year’s conference will take place April 8 – 11, 2014 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the theme Innovate, Influence, Impact, which focuses on ways in which performance leads to business impact and how to maximize organizational budgets dedicated to learning. In an interview-style discussion, Lessons in Leadership, Jack Welch will share insights from his first-hand experiences as a world-renowned CEO and management expert. Attendees will gain tips to develop leadership qualities, build a competitive advantage and transform their lives and the organizations of the future.
Two additional distinguished keynote speakers will join Welch on the event agenda – Erik Wahl and Lyn Heward. Broadcast live from Perspectives as a Leadership Development Channel Live Event, internationally recognized artist Erik Wahl will present UNthink, a program designed to reframe organization’s thinking so that new creative actions become possible. In her keynote presentation, The Spark: Igniting the Creative Fire That Lives Within Us All, Lyn Heward, former Director of Creation for Cirque du Soleil, will dispense practical advice on a range of issues, including keys to finding and developing talent, embracing risk-taking and fostering a dynamic corporate culture.
Attendees will also be invited to attend KÀ by Cirque du Soleil on site at MGM Grand Hotel, a ground-breaking stage performance and cinematic journey of aerial adventure and perpendicular acrobatics.
