Registration Opens for 2014 Global Skillsoft Perspectives
Keynote speakers Erik Wahl and Lyn Heward to headline Skillsoft’s annual user conference April 8-11, 2014 in Las Vegas
NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skillsoft, a leading provider of cloud-based learning solutions, today announced that registration for its 2014 Global Skillsoft Perspectives user conference is now open. The event will feature keynote speakers Erik Wahl, internationally recognized artist and best-selling author and Lyn Heward, former Director of Creation, Cirque du Soleil. Skillsoft, a pioneer in the field of technology-delivered learning with a long history of innovation, hosts the yearly event to offer learning professional attendees the opportunity to share experiences, strategies and challenges with peers, industry leaders and experts from around the world.
The 2014 Global Skillsoft Perspectives conference will take place April 8 – 11, 2014 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2014 theme – Innovate, Influence, Impact – focuses on ways in which performance leads to business impact and how to maximize learning budgets dedicated to learning. The event provides approximately 1,000 learning professionals a unique opportunity to share and discuss how learning delivers business value for their organizations.

The year’s conference will feature two renowned keynote speakers –Erik Wahl and Lyn Heward. Wahl, internationally recognized artist and author of the bestselling business book UNTHINK, will both visually and metaphorically tie performance to innovation through on-stage painting. His keynote will be broadcast live around the world on the Skillsoft Leadership Channel. Heward, formerly director of creation at Cirque du Soleil, will share her creative vision and explain how to incorporate creativity into the learning experience.
In addition to keynote speeches, attendees will have access to Learning Sessions, networking opportunities, workshops highlighting a variety of trends and themes, hands-on labs and more.
Perspectives will also feature the 2014 Innovation Awards winners. The annual awards honor Skillsoft customers for their significant achievements in learning, recognizing innovative ideas and inspiring leaders who are helping to transform the learning landscape. Nominations for the awards are now open online and the deadline for submission is January 17, 2014.
