The U.S. Air Force Communications Agency Awards $14 Million Dollar Contract to SkillSoft

Awarded by the Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA), the contract has a total potential value exceeding $14 million and reaffirms SkillSoft as a leader in the Department of Defense and Federal e-learning.
With the contract, SkillSoft provides a robust combination of in-depth courseware, fully-searchable online books, learning management technology and mentoring services for up to 700,000 Air Force personnel worldwide. The comprehensive solution supports IT certification, continuing professional education, new technology rollouts and other IT education priorities while helping the Air Force meet DoDD 8570-1, Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management requirements. Known as SkillChoice IT, the solution makes it affordable to provide Air Force personnel with powerful tools to support learning in the workplace, and to keep pace with the constant changes in technology.
