Skillsoft Announces Free Leadercamp on Leading in the New Normal
The free, three-day, interactive online Leadercamp equips leaders with skills to lead post-pandemic and comes with 60 days free access to more than 800 courses
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skillsoft has announced their Leadercamp: Leading in the New Normal, a first-of-its-kind workshop empowering leaders to build the skills they will need to succeed in a post-pandemic world. This Leadercamp will be a free, live, online instructor-led, and interactive learning experience designed to enable participants to lead through rapid change and crisis and create a way forward for themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Registration is now open for Leadercamp: Leading in the New Normal, which will take place May 26-28.
This three-day Leadercamp will take participants through a leadership journey that starts with taking care of one’s self first – building leadership resilience, agility, responsiveness, and effectiveness – to inspiring, influencing, and engaging others, and ends with a strategic approach for enabling teams and organizations to design a path forward. The workshop will be facilitated by Elisa M. Vincent, vice president of global talent enablement at Skillsoft.
“The current global crisis calls for leaders who can support and inspire people through challenges, and who can engage them in the flow of life and work during and post-pandemic,” said Mark Onisk, chief content officer, Skillsoft. “The way forward requires a strategic, thoughtful, compassionate approach to leadership. In this Leadercamp, we will explore ways in which leaders can effectively address and plan for the human capital and business challenges facing so many of us today. It is designed to help leaders re-charge, re-think, and re-focus their leadership style in meaningful ways, and strengthen themselves and their organizations in the process.”
Following completion of Leadercamp: Leading in the New Normal, leaders will be empowered to:
- Build resilience and agility to create an appropriate sense of urgency, to pivot, and to persevere effectively.
- Deploy effective tools to engage and inspire teams during times of uncertainty and change.
- Set leadership vision and strategy for forward momentum in complex, rapidly evolving environments.
To further support leaders who register for Leadercamp: Leading in the New Normal, attendees will also get 60 days free access to 800+ courses on leadership, business continuity, compliance, and technology and development, including more than 300 MIT Sloan Management Review articles. This will include many resources featured in the Leadercamp. In addition to the three-day experience and the 60-day free access, participants will benefit from handbooks that will help them and their employees navigate the return to work with access to open content.
